Although our local Wildlife is our most popular Attraction there are plenty of things to do in Kenai. Kenai Fjords
Drive to Seward for the day and hop on board a cruise of Kenai Fjords National Park. See whales, porpoise, eagles, puffin, seals, sea lions, sea otters, black bears, and more! Experience the thunderous rumble of ice breaking off of gigantic tide water glaciers. Kenai Fjords is worth the visit!

Berry Picking
Blueberries, raspberries, or salmon berries, take your pick! These berries grow in abundance on the Kenai Peninsula.

Wildlife Viewing
Take a seat near the Kenai River Flats, pull out a pair of binoculars and a whole new world opens up. Birds, caribou, moose and other wildlife take center stage on the Flats where you can see for miles. Don't forget your camera!

February

State Fair
August/September
Ending on labor day this eleven day fair brings many Alaskans together to celebrate in our farming community of Palmer with a carnival, a lumberjack show, prizes for the best Alaskan grown produce, and miles of food and games!

The last weekend in August the "biggest little fair in Alaska" takes place in Ninilchik. The Kenai Peninsula's version of the state fair has an exciting rodeo, produce and livestock exhibits, fun games, and plenty of mouth watering goodies!
